Audi Radio Code Generator Online
To obtain your Audi radio code online, you’ll need the radio identification number, which starts with AUZ. You can locate this serial number either on the radio display (if it includes navigation) or on the sticker attached to the device box. This online calculator works for all original Audi radios manufactured since 1998.
How to find your Audi Serial Number
Audi Chorus
You can calculate the security code for the old Chorus model using the serial number, as with the number. The manufacturer attaches this serial number to a label on the packaging. In this YouTube video you can see how to remove the device. It would be helpful if you had universal extraction cables like these: keys on Amazon for this process. You can find the keys if you search for “Audi radio extraction keys” outside the UK.

Audi RNS-E Navi
Calculate the SAFE code for your RNS-E unit using the AUZ serial number. This 14-character number can be found at the bottom of the screen when the unit is on and prompting for the code. Alternatively, you can locate the serial number on the side of the box, either engraved on the metal or on a label. For example: AUZ1Z4K3927411.
Audi Symphony
This radio is commonly found in the A4 and A6 models, though it may also appear in other models. You can unlock the code for versions 1 and 2 using the identification number. To find this number, you will need to remove the unit to access the label on the side of the box. In this video, you can see how to remove your Symphony unit. Once you have the label in view, look for the serial number near the barcode—it will always start with AUZ.

Audi Concert 1 & 2
Unlock the Chorus I and its latest model (2) code using the 14-digit serial number, which you can find engraved on the metal casing or on the label attached to it. The serial number always begins with the letters AUZ. Typically, you’ll need two extraction keys to remove the radio, but you can also use a simple nail file, as demonstrated in this video.
Different model
Above, you’ll find a list of the most common audio systems in Audi cars, but there are others not included here. Regardless of the model or year, all original Audi radios have a unique serial code required to calculate the safe code. To locate this number, remove the audio unit from the center console and examine the labels on the sides or top. For example, the serial might look like: AUZ2Z7B8361038. Once you have the serial number, enter it into the generator at the top of the page and click the “Calculate” button.

How To Enter your Audi Radio Code
Turn on your Audi radio. It’s normal to see “SAFE” appear on the screen, but if it doesn’t disappear after a few seconds, press and hold the “RDS” and “SCAN” buttons until you see “1000.” If the screen shows “SAFE 2,” leave the radio on for an hour.
To enter the code:
- Press the button corresponding to 1 repeatedly to input the first digit of the code.
- Press the button corresponding to 2 repeatedly for the second digit.
- Repeat this process with the buttons corresponding to 3 and 4 for the remaining digits.
Confirm the code by pressing and holding the “RDS” and “SCAN” buttons. For the Symphony model, the “RDS” button is labeled “RBDS.”
Free Audi Radio Code
We provide free codes for Blaupunkt radios (BP + 12 digits). To access this offer, simply send us a picture of the radio label via chat. Our team will identify the radio and respond with the 4-digit code needed to activate it.

Why is my Audi radio asking for code?
All Audi car radios are equipped with a theft protection system that locks the radio when it’s disconnected from the car’s power supply, such as during a battery replacement. This can be inconvenient for car owners who don’t have the radio code card, as you will need the code to use the audio system again. Unfortunately, there’s no way to bypass this requirement—disconnecting the power will necessitate entering the code to reactivate the radio. Fortunately, obtaining this code has become quite simple, as you can now get it online.
