How do I get my Ford Focus radio code?

How to Find Your Ford Focus Serial Number
6000CD (2004 – 2007)
You can calculate the radio activation code for your Focus radio using the identification number that you will find for this model either on the screen or on the rear or side sticker. Press and hold buttons 1 and 6 and wait 20 seconds to display the serial number starting with the letter V. Example: V283644.
6000CD (2008 – 2012)
You can unlock the code for the latest model 6000 CD radio in Focus vehicles using the serial number that you can see on the radio screen. To view this serial number, turn on the stereo and press and hold buttons 1 and 6 for a few seconds. Various information will be displayed on the screen. The number we are looking for appears last in this format: V123456.
RDS EON Models (1998 – 2003)
Determine the activation code for this old cassette or CD device using the serial number that you can find on the side and top stickers. Use the four removal openings to pull out the radio. You must use these removal keys for this. If you do not have the removal keys, you can also use four nails or screwdrivers. The device can be removed very quickly. Sony (2008 – 2015)
Calculate the activation key code for the Sony Focus model using the serial number that appears on the screen when you press and hold buttons 1 and 6 for several seconds. Make sure that you switch on the stereo system beforehand. After about 30 seconds, you will be able to see this identification number for a moment in this format: SOCX1AV123456. We recommend that you record a video with your cell phone to pause it and see the serial number correctly.
Sony (2004 – 2007)
Carefully remove the radio from the centre of the console. To do this, you will need extraction keys like these. Please note that the serial number is not displayed on the screen for this model. Once you have removed the radio, you can see the serial number you need to calculate the pin on the label attached to the side of the device. This model has an identification number of series M. Example: M127353. With this serial number, you will be able to determine the radio code for the Ford Focus.
Travelpilot EX Navi (2004 – 2007)
The anti-theft device of your Blaupunkt Travelpilot EX navigation system can be identified by the 14-digit serial number which you will find on the label on the side of the packaging. Blaupunt Travelpilot FX Navi (2006 – 2015)
To calculate the Sat Nav pin for your C-Max or S-Max, you’ll need the 12-digit ID number located on the back of the radio. This number starts with BP or C7. To find it, carefully remove the stereo unit from the center console. Once it’s out, take a clear photo of the labels on the top and side of the unit for reference. This serial number is all you need to retrieve the radio code for your Ford Focus.
