How To Find Your Jeep Serial Number
Removing The Radio Unit
To easily remove the radio, you will need a slotted screwdriver or a pry tool to remove the panels from the dashboard to gain access to the radio.
Some radios require an unlocking key to remove the radio from the dashboard.
Press the release keys into each corner of the radio, apply a little pressure and the radio will release from the dashboard.
The label is located on the back of the radio housing.

Identifying The Serial Number
Once removed, there is a large label on the top or side of the radio unit.
Chrysler serials begin with “T”, below are some popular examples:
TH | TD | TQ | T00 |
T16 | T19 | T0MY | TB |
TC | TVP | T82 | TM9 |
Jeep Continental Radio Example (A2C Serial Numbers)
With Jeep Continental radios, you have to remove the radio to get to the label. The serial number is something like A2C9081210200031094.

- Press button 2 repeatedly to enter the second digit of the anti-theft code.
- Do the same with the left two digits by pressing buttons 3 and 4.
- Make sure you see the correct code on the screen and press and hold the “Enter” button (usually the round button).
- If the code is correct, the radio will operate normally. If the message WAIT appears, the code is incorrect.
Get your Jeep Radio Code for Free
Do not be deceived. The process of deriving a code for Jeep is very complex (often involving official sources), so no one can give these codes out for free. If someone presumes to do this, you should be careful. We are aware of several websites that are just trying to get you to fill out a questionnaire or exploit your data for malicious purposes.
