How to get your Škoda radio code
Retrieve the activation code for your Skoda car radio, required after a power loss, such as after a battery replacement. Using this online generator, you’ll receive the original 4-digit code, which can be reused whenever necessary. To unlock your radio, all you need is the serial number, located on the back of the radio unit, accessible by partially removing it from the center console.
This generator works for any Skoda model and radio type, including Blaupunkt, Dance, Symphony, and Swing radios, with serial numbers starting with SKZ.
Compatible Models: Fabia, Octavia.
Skoda Bolero Radio
All Skoda radios must be removed to access the serial number.
Removing your Skoda Bolero radio is a simple process. You’ll need a flat-head screwdriver and a prying tool to detach the dashboard panels. Once the panels are off, you may also need to remove the radio cover. At this point, you’ll see four screws, one in each corner—unscrew these, and the radio will come free from the dash.
Look for the sticker on the unit that contains the SKZ serial number. After noting the serial number, enter it into the generator at the top of the page to get your unlock code.
There’s no need to disconnect any wires during this process.

Skoda Navigation Radio Code
The removal process for a Skoda navigational radio is identical to that of other Skoda radios. Start by using a prying tool to remove the dashboard panels and a screwdriver to unscrew each corner of the radio. Once the radio is free, locate the serial number on the sticker attached to the unit.
For Skoda navigation radios, the serial number always features a 7 as the 6th character.
Serial number example: SKZ6Z7J9836103
Where to find your Skoda serial number
Locate the serial number stamped on the label attached to the side of your audio unit. To access it, you’ll need to carefully remove the radio, which is secured by four screws. These screws are hidden behind the plastic molds surrounding the radio, so you must first remove those panels. Once you see the label, check under the barcode for a string that starts with SKZ, followed by other letters and digits. This serial number is typically 14 characters long.
It’s a good idea to take a photo of the serial number before reassembling the radio. If the code doesn’t work, we may need to verify that it was entered correctly.
Skoda Swing Radio Code
To remove the Skoda Swing radio, you’ll need a flat-head screwdriver and a prying tool to detach the dashboard panels. Once the surrounding panels are off, you may also need to remove the radio cover. After that, unscrew the four screws located in each corner. Once these are removed, you can slide the radio out and locate the label on the side of the metal casing.
You don’t need to disconnect any wires during this process.

Free Skoda Radio Code
We understand that you may be hoping to find a way to retrieve your Skoda radio code for free, but unfortunately, that’s not possible. Each Skoda radio serial number is unique and never duplicated, which means there’s no universal database or public list to access free codes. The only legitimate way to obtain these codes is through official channels, which does involve a cost.
