Clarion Radio Codes online service
If you’ve lost your Clarion radio security code, you’re just a few clicks away from retrieving it through our automated servers.
Clarion also manufactures radios for other car brands like Citroen, Nissan, and Peugeot.
How To Find Your Clarion Serial Number
To find your Clarion serial number, you’ll need to remove the radio and check the label located on the top or side of the radio casing. The serial number starts with either CL, PP, or PN, followed by a series of numbers. The first digit of the last 7 digits will always be a 0, such as in the example: 0003742.
You can find online guides and YouTube tutorials to help with the radio removal process.

I’ve lost my security code, what should I do?
If your radio unit has a fixed “Manufacturer Code” (typically supplied with your vehicle when new), you’ll need to contact your local dealership. They can retrieve the code for you, but you’ll need to bring your original vehicle registration documents as proof of ownership, along with completing a few required forms.
If your unit has a “Personal Code” (one you set yourself), it will need to be returned to one of our Service Centres for decoding. You can do this through any of our authorized stockists or by contacting us directly. Please note, you will need to provide proof of ownership, such as the original invoice, the guarantee card, and valid personal identification.

I Have Entered the Wrong Security Code into My Radio
If you have entered the wrong security code into your radio, the steps to reset it will depend on the type of unit and whether it was factory-installed or a retail product.
Factory Installed Source Unit with Manufacturer Code
If your unit has a fixed “Manufacturer Code” and was factory-installed, consult the “Security Code” or “Error of Code” section in your vehicle’s owner’s manual. The reset procedures may vary depending on the make and model of the vehicle.

Retail Products Pre-1989 with Fixed Code
For radios with a fixed code manufactured before 1989, entering the wrong code triggers the system’s blocking device. To reset, press the [ST] button for three seconds to clear the incorrect entry. Once erased, you can enter the correct code that was provided at the time of purchase.
Retail Products Pre-1989 with Personal Code
If your radio has a “Personal Code” and was made before 1989, entering the wrong code will activate the blocking device, causing the screen to either remain blank or display “Security.” To reset, leave the radio powered on for up to 24 hours, depending on how many incorrect attempts were made. After this delay, “Code – In” or four zeros will flash on the display, allowing you to enter the correct code.
