As with other radios, you will need a lever tool and a screwdriver to remove the panel from the dashboard and unscrew the screws. If you have difficulties with this, watch the video that shows you how to remove your radio.
Enter Nissan radio code
Now that you have the 4-digit activation code for your radio, it’s time to enter it. First, press the 1 button as many times as necessary to enter the first digit of the code. For example, to enter a 9, you must press the button 9 times. Proceed in the same way with buttons 2, 3 and 4 for the rest of the code.
After you have made sure that you have read the correct code on the screen, you must confirm it. The confirmation button differs depending on the stereo model. Try “6”, “FF”, “TA”, “up arrow” or “>>”.
Why is my Nissan asking for code?
All Nissan car radios are protected against theft by a locking system that is triggered when the radio is disconnected from the vehicle’s power supply. This system is very inconvenient for car owners who do not have a card with the radio code, as they will need the code sooner or later. Unfortunately, there is no way around it: as soon as you disconnect the power supply, you will need the code to be able to use your audio system again. Fortunately, this is very easy these days, as you can obtain this code online.
